Connexus Mobile App: Download and Login

The Connexus mobile app puts Connexus Credit Union banking on your phone — sign in with the same credentials as the website, deposit checks by photo, and approve transfers with Face ID or a fingerprint.

There is no separate app registration. If you can complete the Connexus login in a browser, the app will accept the same username and password. This guide is an independent walkthrough for finding, installing, and signing in to the official app safely.

Downloading the app

  1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play and search for Connexus Credit Union.
  2. Confirm the publisher is listed as Connexus Credit Union before you install.
  3. Open the app and sign in with your online-banking username and password.
  4. Approve the one-time passcode, then enable Face ID or fingerprint if you want faster sign-ins.

Not enrolled yet? Set up access first through Connexus online banking, then return to the app and sign in. You can also reach the official app links from the Connexus website rather than searching, which removes any doubt about which listing is genuine.

What the app adds over the website

The phone app covers everything the website does and adds a few things that only make sense on a device you carry:

Turning on biometric login

Biometric sign-in is the single biggest convenience the app offers, and it is safe to use because your face or fingerprint never leaves the device — it only unlocks the credentials already stored there. After your first successful sign-in, open the app's security settings and switch on Face ID or fingerprint. From then on the app opens with a glance or a touch, while still falling back to your password if the biometric fails a few times.

Setting up alerts that actually help

Push notifications are the app's quiet superpower, because they turn your phone into an early-warning system for your account. The most useful ones to switch on are a balance alert when funds drop below a threshold you choose, a large-transaction alert for any charge over a set amount, and a new-login alert that fires whenever a device signs in. Together they mean you learn about a problem in seconds rather than at the end of the month. Alerts are configured once in the app's settings and then work in the background; you can dial them back later if they become noisy, but most members find the peace of mind worth a few extra buzzes.

App login trouble

A biometric that suddenly stops working usually just needs the password entered once to re-link it. A greyed-out sign-in button most often means an out-of-date app — update it from the store and try again. If the account itself is locked, the fix is the same as on the web: use the Forgot links or call 800.845.5025. Only ever download the app from the official Apple and Google stores; sideloaded copies from other sites are a known scam vector, covered in our safety guide.
